CXR (Currency eXchange Rates) is an automatic currency exchange system for web sites. CXR provides automatic gathering, processing currency exchange rates data. It comes with tools for working with currency rates, e.g. converters, exchange rates tables. What about data sources? There are some open data sources in Internet. They provide official currency rates. An example of data feed is "The European Central Bank". It provides daily currency rates in XML format. Another example is "The Federal Reserve Bank of New York". It also provides currency rates in XML format. So, updaterCXR is like a spider. It gathers currency rates data from open sources, processes, and saves it in CXR format. |
